7th Annual Colloquium on Latin American and Peninsular Languages, Literatures and Cultures in UC Davis, California

The graduate students of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of California, Davis cordially invite you to our Fall 2011 Colloquium. All graduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts on any topic related to the languages, literatures, and cultures of the Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian worlds. Work-in-progress dissertation chapters, seminar papers, and collaborative projects are all welcome.

Presentations are accepted in the following areas:

● Análisis del discurso ● Español como lengua heredada
en los EE.UU. ● Fonología española ● Historia de la lengua ● Psicolingüística ● Sociolingüística ● Tecnologías y aprendizaje lingüístico ● Estudios de género ● Estudios luso-hispánicos ● Estudios transatlánticos ● Literatura en español en los EE.UU. ● Literatura en español y otras manifestaciones estéticas ● Teoría literaria.

Abstracts (not exceeding 300 words) must include the submitter’s name, departmental affiliation, email address, and paper title. Please send submissions in Spanish, Portuguese or English as attachments to the Colloquium website: abstracts@coloquioucdavis.com
